In one of the bigger moves at the NHL trade deadline, the Arizona Coyotes traded Keith Yandle in a package to the New York Rangers.
Yandle, 28, led the Coyotes in scoring this season with 41 points, but it became clear the team would be moving in a younger direction, while Yandle provided value to playoff teams in need of a veteran defender who can score.
#NYR Keith Yandle is tied for NHL lead in PP asts (24), is tied for 3rd in NHL in PP pts (26), & is tied for 10th in NHL in asts this season
