They will never be able to play alongside one another, but Vladimir Guerrero and his son, Vladimir Jr., still managed to take the field together on Sunday afternoon. While the younger Guerrero plays for the Lansing Lugnuts, the Toronto Blue Jays’ Single-A affiliate, his father threw out the ceremonial first pitch on Father’s Day for Sunday’s outing.

The elder Guerrero is likely headed for the National Baseball Hall of Fame; his son has yet to make his much-anticipated major league debut.

C’mon Vlad! Gotta throw it from the rubber!
