Tigers’ Cabrera Cleared for Non-Impact Exercises

MLB Tonight

Detroit Tigers slugger and two-time MVP Miguel Cabrera has been cleared to begin hitting, throwing and running the team announced today.

The first baseman fought through a stress fracture in his right foot that hampered his production in the 2014 season. Cabrera did undergo ankle and foot surgery in the offseason and a recent evaluation by Dr. Robert Anderson, the same doctor that performed the procedure, suggests Miggy could be ready to play Opening Day.

Cabrera hit .313 with 25 home runs and 109 RBI in 2014, but that was a far cry from the production Tigers fans and fantasy baseball owners were used to seeing from one of the game’s best ever hitters.

What kind of production will we see from Miguel Cabrera in 2015?

Where should Miggy be selected in Fantasy Baseball Drafts?
