Tiger Woods announced he will officially enter the Masters tournament, his first tournament since early February.
Woods made the announcement on his Twitter.
I'm playing in the Masters. Thanks for all the support. http://t.co/SYih4eSxUa

Woods hasn’t played since he withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open. Woods was recovering from back surgery, and has repeatedly said he wouldn’t play until his game was at a point where he would be competitive. After multiple practice rounds at Augusta, he apparently thinks his game is ready.
Woods needs four majors to tie Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18. He hasn’t won a major since 2008.
For the first time since 1996, Woods is outside of the top-100 ranking. He’s currently ranked No. 104 in the world.
