Tiger Woods says he’s waiting until his game is ready before competing again on the PGA tour. According to his agent Mark Steinberg, Woods’ game isn’t ready to play in his own backyard.
Woods will skip the Honda Classic, located near his Jupiter, FL, home, because he feels his game still isn’t ready to compete.
“He’s working at it. When that time comes, he’s going to do some things in practice to replicate whatever he can under the gun and then put it in play,” Steinberg said.
The decision isn’t much of a surprise, which speaks to the point that Woods has reached in his career.
Tiger Woods won't play the Honda Classic. Sign of the times that it's a much smaller story than if he was playing the Honda Classic.
