Three Areas LSU Must Improve to Contend in SEC

NCAA FOOTBALL: DEC 30 Music City Bowl - Notre Dame v LSU

For the first time since 2009, the LSU Tigers failed to reach double-digit wins. Les Miles’ squad entered the season as the No. 13 team in the nation, but ultimately finished outside of the top 25 after finishing with an 8-5 record.

Disappointingly, LSU lost three of its final four games, including a 31-28 flop against Notre Dame in the Music City Bowl.

Some of LSU’s struggles can be attributed to losing several key players to the NFL earlier in the year, as younger players failed to play at a consistent level throughout the season. Heading into the 2015 season, LSU still boasts a ton of talent and could make some serious noise in the SEC West. Let’s take a look at the top areas for improvement for LSU.
