The Dallas Cowboys selected defensive end Taco Charlton in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Michigan with the expectation to make an immediate impact with the reigning NFC East Champions.
That first immediate impact came on Saturday, when he recorded his first sack in a Cowboys jersey against the Los Angeles Rams.

Charlton is coming off a senior season at Michigan in which he made 10 sacks in 11 games. That level of production is what Dallas is hoping for with Randy Gregory suspended, needing an extra pass rusher to help them compete in the loaded NFC East.
