While he is no longer a superstar, thanks to a myriad of knee injuries, Rose still has something to contribute on the floor. Last season, he averaged 18 points and shot 47 percent from the field for the Knicks. But the point guard market in free agency has left him without a home and few options remaining. One of the biggest on-going drama’s in the NBA today is the Carmelo Anthony and New York Knicks breakup. The hottest news is that the Knicks have been working on a deal to send Melo to Houston, where he would form the latest “Big Three” with Chris Paul and James Harden. But not so fast. Rumors abound that the Knicks are having second thoughts about the deal, and maybe even the notion of trading Anthony at all. The circus in New York continues even without Phil Jackson.
