NBA: MAY 26 Eastern Conference Finals - Game 4 - Hawks at Cavaliers

Hawks Aim to Build Off 60-Win Campaign

The Atlanta Hawks had the best record in the Eastern Conference last season and made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Final before losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The goal now is for them to get back next season and take another big step forward in their on-court progress as a franchise.

In addition to improving next season, Fastbreak’s Taylor Hallstrom says the Hawks did more than just exceed preseason expectations:

“The lasting legacy of the 2014-2015 Hawks isn’t further proof that teams without superstars cannot win the title; rather, the lasting legacy is that teams without superstars can nonetheless become title contenders through effective roster construction and excellent coaching.”
