The UConn Huskies, Syracuse Orange, Oregon Ducks and Iowa Hawkeyes will be headlining the 2018 2K Sports Classic at the world-famous Madison Square Garden, multiple sources have informed FanRag Sports. However, the official matchups surrounding the annual event have yet to be determined.

It is also worth noting that the Providence Friars, Virginia Tech Hokies, Washington Huskies and Saint Louis Billikens will be headlining this year’s version of festivities.

While the rivalry between UConn and Syracuse dates all the way back to each program’s time in the Big East, both Oregon and Iowa have solidified themselves as national powerhouses over the course of the last several seasons as well. Despite the fact that UConn now plays its basketball in the American Athletic Conference with Syracuse calling the heralded ACC home, such a potential matchup would surely highlight the looming event.
