Stanford Cardinal graduate transfer Malcolm Allen has informed FanRag Sports that he has committed to play for the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in 2017-18. Allen is immediately eligible to suit up for the Lumberjacks.

The up-and-coming guard previously spent the last three seasons with the Cardinal men’s basketball program.

Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 180 pounds, Allen averaged just 0.7 points over the course of 3.6 minutes per game in what would become his final go-round at Stanford in 2016-17. However, despite his disappointing junior campaign, he previously averaged 2.4 points, 1.2 assists and 0.8 rebounds over the course of 12 minutes per game as a sophomore in 2015-16. Allen averaged 0.8 points, 0.2 rebounds and 0.1 assists in 4.6 minutes per game as a freshman back in 2013-14.

Last season, Stanford struggled mightily and finished the year with a 14-17 overall record. Northern Arizona also had trouble winning and produced a 9-23 overall record in 2016-17.
