Cincinnati and Mississippi State will start a home-and-home series next season, multiple sources told FanRag Sports.

The date of this first game will be on Dec. 12, 2017 and be played at Northern Kentucky University due to renovations at Fifth Third Arena — the Bearcats’ home court.

There will be a return game in Starkville during the 2018-19 season.

Cincinnati returns three starters — Jacob Evans, Gary Clark, and Kyle Washington — from last year’s team that won 30 games and reached the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament. Mississippi State returns everyone of significance from last season’s team that finished 16-16 while adding five-star freshman guard Nick Weatherspoon.
