Rivers Reunion – Doc to Coach Austin in LA

Will Doc get the most out of Austin?

NBA Tonight

In a three team trade involving the Suns, Celtics and Clippers, Boston has agreed to send Austin Rivers, who was acquired on Monday, to the Los Angeles Clippers. The younger Rivers will now play for his father, Glenn “Doc” Rivers and call Hollywood home. This will mark the first time in NBA history that a son will log actual minutes for a team coached by his father.

The trade will send Rivers to the Clippers, former LA first-round pick Reggie Bullock to the Suns while the Celtics will acquire Clippers swing man Chris Douglas-Roberts and Phoenix big man Shavlik Randolph.
