Philadelphia Phillies’ Rhys Hoskins entered Sunday’s game against the New York Mets 0 for his first 10 and in search of career hit No. 1 in the majors after being called up on Aug. 10.
Hitless in his first two at-bats and strolling to the plate in the bottom of the fifth with runners on first and second, Hoskins will be able to put the ball in his back pocket after he laced an RBI single to right.
