Relatively Speaking Podcast: NBA Finals are set

The Golden State Warriors were able to out-basketball the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night. In a game that featured much fun, runs, and overflowing stories, the past is mostly in the past and Golden State is officially set to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals.

With that being said, the Relatively Speaking Podcast is obviously Western Conference Finals heavy to start the show. More specifically, how epic was Klay Thompson in the series?

Also, can a team who lost to a team who previously lost 9 out of 82 be embarrassed because they only won 3 out of 7. You know, because between that and the “choke” articles humans will read over the next several days, Jared and Joseph take a preemptive strike at silly narratives.

Bad Tweets is Western Conference Finals related, too. They are, indeed, rather awful tweets.

If Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook stay, does this mark the start of a beautiful rivalry between OKC and GSW moving forward? A lot of variables, but the guys talk about the potential of it being so.

Speaking of Durant, does he stay or does he go. Logic says he will sign for one more year because of the new salary cap KD can take advantage next offseason, but does Jared or Joseph even believe in logic?

LeBron James is great, by the way. He’s now in his sixth straight NBA Finals. Because social media is sometimes a cesspool of disaster, some are saying Bron Bron is less great than the East is an abomination to the senses. We have takes… plenty of hot takes on the matter at hand.

Don’t forget about Absurd Questions, which is patently absurd this week!
