Relatively Speaking Podcast: Jacoby Brissett is an American hero

(Fred Kfoury III/Icon Sportswire)

The Relatively Speaking Podcast is all about bringing you the truth. Monday’s truth? The fact that New England Patriots third-string quarterback Jacoby Brissett is the best thing to hit the planet since sliced bread.

That may, or may not for that matter, be slight hyperbole.

New England now has to move forward minus two really good-looking gunslingers. If the handsome ratio going down a bit isn’t bad enough, someone named Jacoby Brissett appears to be the man to take the helm. Jared and Joseph discuss the young quarterback, his talents, and how he is better than five more well-known passers.

Joseph wants to rant about the Denver Broncos. For what it is worth, it is how the entire team is super — if not downright wicked — awesome, but how Trevor Siemian is not as good as Brissett.

The Dallas Cowboys look better this week. It was definitely that… or the fact that they played an iffy Washington team. Either way, Dallas’ QB situation looks better this week. It was definitely that… or the fact that they played an iffy Washington team. Either way, Dallas’ QB situation looks better two weeks into the new season.

Does Andrew Luck stink? Maybe not, but he is definitely no Brissett. To be fair, however, who is Jacoby Brissett?

Bad Tweets features a few bad jokes and NFL-on-NBA tweet tomfoolery.

Absurd Questions puts you into a time-warp. Joseph wants to know about high-definition TV in comparison to standard-def, while Jared is asking Joseph questions about subjects he has zero idea even existed.

Follow Jared on the cold, mean, and dark streets of Twitter @JMintzHoops.

You can do the same with the other less articulate host @JosephNardone.
