We had a big trade in the NBA this week. The Eric Bledsoe saga came to an end, with the 28-year-old guard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for Greg Monroe’s expiring contract and a first-round pick.

To help Jared make sense of the trade, as well as the status of a topsy-turvy Eastern Conference, is Buck writer and podcaster extraordinaire Ti Windisch!

After rapid-fire questions, Jared and Ti open up the show discussing why the Bucks made the trade, Bledsoe’s long-term outlook in Milwaukee, and how his arrival could propel the Bucks to the top of the East. It’s impossible to talk about the Bucks without talking about Giannis Antetokeounmpo, who gets acknowledged as one of this season’s favorites to win MVP.

Speaking of MVPs, the guys marvel at how incredible LeBron James has been this year, but also wonder how his Cavs can turn things around after their 5-7 start. They discuss whether the Celtics’ hot start is for real, if the Raptors or Wizards stand a chance at winning the East, surprising starts in Orlando and Detroit, and the red-hot Knicks.

You can find Ti’s writing at The Step Back and FanSided’s Behind the Buck Pass, and check out his NBA podcast Timeout with Ti. Keep up with Ti on Twitter @TiWindisch.
