Football season is upon on. A place in space and time when we ignore all our normal humanitarian feelings for the sake of cheering on insane amounts of violence.

The Texas Longhorns upset the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday night. Not only does Texas appear to have found its first legit quarterback in nearly a decade, but Brian Kelly trotted the Irish about the gridiron as if he were afraid of his own shadow.

Joseph goes all-in on Kelly. He thinks the coach made several mistakes during the game. Yes, obviously some of it has to deal with not settling on a quarterback earlier in the game, but also how he failed to take advantage of a tie game late in the fourth quarter.

Jared and Joseph also discuss the Sam Bradford trade, which NFL teams they expect to be better and worse than projected, and how Mark Sanchez still gets jobs in the NFL.

The dastardly handsome due also take a stab at who will win this year’s National Football League MVP. Jared’s answer is normal. Joseph’s is, well, not so normal.

Absurd Questions is not as patently absurd as normally this week. Joseph just wants to know if Jared is mad at him. Jared discusses how much he loves to grill pizza, and ponders what other delicacies can be gently hurled onto a grill.
