St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is making changes as soon as possible after his team got blown out by the Arizona Cardinals, 27-3, on Sunday afternoon. For the second time this season, backup Case Keenum will be the team’s starter:

Against the Cardinals, Foles posted the limp stat line of 15-for-35, totaling 146 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception. Kenny Britt was the team’s leading wide receiver with just two catches for 41 total yards. This was the second straight difficult game for Foles, who finished with 228 total yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions in last week’s blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Keenum has a 2-9 career record as a starter, although most of those losses came in relief of Matt Schaub during the Houston Texans’ lost 2013 season. He is 0-1 this year with the Rams, having gone 12-of-26 for 146 yards and a touchdown in a tight loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Rams’ opponent next week will be another 4-8 team, the Detroit Lions, who are fresh off of a devastating last-second loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. Both teams entered the season with legitimate playoff aspirations but have both seen their seasons turn south. St. Louis stood at 4-3 at the beginning of November, and have since lost five games in a row.
