There hasn’t exactly been a shortage of big shots for the Pittsburgh Penguins in recent years, but Conor Sheary worked one of his into the mix tonight.
The fourth-year skater somehow scored on this tight-window opportunity against the Buffalo Sabres. Patrick Hornqvist located Sheary, whose shot narrowly beat Sabres goalie Robin Lehner‘s solid save attempt during the second period.

Sheary’s shot, however, only brought the Pens to within 3-2 of the Sabres. The two-time reigning Stanley Cup champions are still down at home despite Sheary’s nifty goal, his fourth of the season.
