San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval hit his first home run in a Giants uniform…this time around. The team’s new man at the hot corner launched an offering from Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer way into the D.C. night on Sunday, the second time he has taken Scherzer deep in his career.

Sandoval’s last home run in a Giants jersey during the regular season came back on Sept. 5, 2014. Since then, he’s undergone a sabbatical in Boston, just to eventually return to the Bay Area.

He now owns 107 home runs as a member of the franchise.
