The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook has officially released its over-under win totals for the upcoming 2017-18 NBA season, according to Westgate Las Vegas Superbook manager Jeff Sherman.

Not surprisingly, the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors come in with highest over-under at 67.5 wins. Golden State won 67 regular-season games en route to its second championship in three years this past season, and during the 2015-16 campaign, the Warriors won a single-season NBA-record 73 regular-season contests.

What is a bit surprising, however, is that the Boston Celtics came in second at 56.5 wins.

The Celtics absolutely improved this offseason by adding Gordon Hayward, but it is a bit strange that they are ahead of the likes of the San Antonio Spurs. Also, remember that Boston has a trade in limbo right now, as it agreed to deal Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and the Brooklyn Nets’ 2018 first-round draft pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving last week. However, due to issues with Thomas’ hip, the trade is currently on hold.

The Celtics won 53 regular-season games last season.

Las Vegas has the Houston Rockets at the third-highest over-under of 55.5 wins. The Rockets won 55 games a year ago and added Chris Paul via trade this summer. The Spurs came in fourth at 54.5 wins while the Cavaliers rounded out the top five at 53.5 wins.

As far as other notable win totals, the Chicago Bulls are being viewed as the worst team in the league with an over-under of a mere 21.5. The Bulls traded Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves on draft night.
