Ole Miss Rallies from Down 17 to Advance

After trailing BYU 49-32 at half, the Ole Miss Rebels rallied in a big way with 62 second-half points en route to a 94-90 victory and putting the Rebels into the field of 64.

A few stats that stand out are the 25-0 margin that Ole Miss held in the points-off-turnovers department. Ole Miss shot worse from the field, three point line and free throw line, but managed to get up 22 more shots than BYU. That was helped in large part due to BYU’s 15 turnovers.

Stefan Moody was the star for the SEC representative with 26 points on 10-18 shooting.

BYU will lose senior Tyler Haws, who scored 33 points for his fifth 30-point game of the season.

Ole Miss will now prepare for Xavier in the ‘second round’ of the tournament.
