Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph didn’t wait long to show off the cannon that has him in consideration for this year’s Heisman Award, firing a 44-yard touchdown strike to Tyron Johnson a little over two minutes into the team’s season opener Thursday against Tulsa.

Rudolph was a major factor in the Cowboys garnering the No. 10 spot in the AP Preseason Top 25 poll, behind only Oklahoma out of Big 10 teams.
