On Thursday, a rumor surfaced on an Ohio State message board that starting quarterback J.T. Barrett suffered a broken wrist. Given his status it goes without saying that the senior will be a key figure for the Buckeyes as they look to get back to the College Football Playoff after being topped by eventual national champions Clemson in the semifinals.

On Friday Barrett took to Twitter to address the rumor, simply saying that his wrist is not broken.

Last season Barrett completed 61.5 percent of his pass attempts, throwing for 2,555 yards and 24 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Barrett was also a threat on the ground, as he rushed for 845 yards and nine touchdowns on 205 attempts.
