Kevin Durant may not be in the lineup for Monday night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder, but that doesn’t mean the intensity hasn’t been through the roof.
Stephen Curry and Thunder guard Semaj Christon got into a tussle just before halftime that was more than the usual exchange of verbal barbs, as Curry got in a two-handed shove to Christon prior to the release of a jump ball.
At halftime, the Warriors lead 59-39, on pace for their fourth consecutive convincing win of the year against Durant’s old team. Curry has dropped 17 points in just 18 minutes of first half action, knocking down 5 for 8 from 3-point range.
The scuffle clearly didn’t faze Curry, who went on to end this half in style.
