Team Puerto Rico catcher Yadier Molina has made a name for himself as member of the St. Louis Cardinals due in part to his elite defensive prowess, having already totaled eight Gold Gloves for his career. He was back at it on Monday night in the semi-final game against the Netherlands just one batter after picking a runner off who had strayed too far from second.

The play by Molina loomed even larger as the next batter that stepped to the plate was Wlad Balentien who did this for the Netherlands:

It’s safe to say that if this happened during any MLB game — no matter the circumstances — the consequences would be nothing short of an all-out brawl between both sides.
