Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez is back at it again with the slides. Suiting up for Team Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic semifinals, Baez was out thrown out trying to steal third in the bottom of the fourth inning… until he wasn’t.

After Baez revolutionized the art of the tag during the 2016 MLB postseason as a member of the Cubs, the Puerto Rican spark plug deked out Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts on Monday. He wouldn’t come around to steal home this time, or even score, but Baez proved he’ll be must-watch TV come the 2017 regular season.
