Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi now holds the crown of the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer following her performance on Sunday. The former all-time leading scorer, Tina Thompson, sent her praise to Taurasi in this video:

Taurasi reached the mark even after going on hiatus from the league in 2015. A five-time league leader in the scoring column, Taurasi passes Thompson, who never once led the WNBA in scoring during her 17 seasons. The four-time WNBA Champion hit the 20 points per game average for a full year just once, but still finds herself in the Top 2 of all-time scoring in the history of the league.

But in addition to Thompson, LeBron James reached out as well:

James will have quite the journey to becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, but he did become the game’s all-time leading scorer during the postseason this past year.
