Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Kellen Clemens has only played in five games over the last three seasons with Philip Rivers regularly running the offense, so the preseason is the time to shine.

But it wasn’t exactly butterflies and rainbows when one of Clemens’ passes in the first quarter of Sunday’s game tipped off running back Branden Oliver and right into the hands of Seahawks linebacker Terence Garvin.

Six, the other way.

That was part of 24-point first-quarter outburst with the Chargers up 14-10 after the first 15 minutes.
