Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota saw his 2016 season come to an end with a broken leg. The Titans missed the playoffs once again, leaving their collective eyes towards the 2017 year.
Now, Mariota is back under center and the team has their eyes set on the AFC South title. First, their quarterback needed to get that first completion out of the way.
Eight months after the injury, Tennessee’s franchise signal caller is nimble enough to scamper around the field like the Mariota of old, finding his wide outs on the run. If he can stay healthy through the preseason, the Titans open 2017 at home against the Oakland Raiders on Sept. 10 with Mariota under center.
