Jose Bautista’s bat flip following a solo homer in the Toronto Blue Jays’ 8-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday prompted the benches to clear. The incident appears to have spilled into Thursday’s contest as well.

Braves starter Julio Teheran plunked Bautista in the first inning and warnings were issued, though the benches did not clear.

If Teheran was trying to hit Bautista, he certainly made it count. Teheran’s fastball was clocked at 95.6 mph, his fastest since 2015.
