The Buffalo Bills notably shipped wide receiver Sammy Watkins to the Los Angeles Rams earlier in the week. As a result, the AFC East franchise was forced to acquire another pass catcher in former Philadelphia Eagles wide out Jordan Matthews.

With the 2017 preseason well underway at this point, Matthews appears to have jumped right in upon arriving in Buffalo.

It is also worth noting that Matthews has decided to sport a new number upon encountering a fresh start. After wearing No. 81 in Philadelphia, the veteran wide receiver is now apparently the owner of No. 87 with the Bills.

Eagles fan here, I have the utmost respect for Jordan Matthews! Sure there were times I was disappointed with his drops, but I NEVER questioned his heart! He’s that type of player/person. Definitely wish him the best success and now the Bills because of it.

I’ll tell you one thing…I don’t have that exact sentiment towards lesean McCoy..and I don’t dispute his talent or records…

    Best of luck JMatt
