When Patrick Kane broke his collarbone on February 24th, it seemed clear that he wouldn’t be ready in time for the playoffs.
It’s pretty clear that’s not the case anymore.
Kane fully participated in practice for the first time on Monday since undergoing surgery. He’s expect to return to his normal slot in the second line when the playoffs. The Blackhawks will visit the Predators in Game 1 on Wednesday.
Kane played in 61 games before the injury. He totaled 64 points, and he was clearly missed after going down. The Blackhawks kept their heads above water, going 12-8-1 without their star.
