Where is Bills training camp?
St. John Fisher College — Pittsford, N.Y.
8/10 – Minnesota Vikings
8/17 – Philadelphia Eagles
8/26 – Baltimore Ravens
8/31 – Detroit Lions
DB – Tre’Davious White – Round 1
Whether LSU is really DBU or not (Florida would like to have a word), the Bills sure got a good one when they traded back and landed White. It was an area to address for Buffalo, which lost Stephon Gilmore to the rival New England Patriots in free agency.
WR- Zay Jones – Round 2
Robert Woods fled to the Los Angeles Rams in free agency, and Sammy Watkins’ health is always a concern. So what did the Bills do? Add one of the most productive receivers in the draft. Jones amassed 399 catches for more than 4,000 yards and 23 total touchdowns over his tenure at East Carolina.
The Scout’s Take
“The Buffalo Bills are a proud franchise with a distant memory of their glory years, and now they are forced to start over again with a new coaching staff after the Rex Ryan era really flopped. Some will argue that this is not a total rebuilding job, because this roster still has a lot of productive veteran players.
“New head coach Sean McDermott has a lot of power for a first-year head coach. Furthermore, his schemes on both sides of the ball are well-defined, and the players should like them. With a better structure in place and more discipline, this team may bounce back more quickly than a lot of people think. But ending their 17-year playoff drought in 2017 may be asking too much.” – FanRag Sports’ Gary Horton.
