St. John’s and Duke will begin a home-and-home series next season at Madison Square Garden, multiple sources told FanRag Sports.
The first game of the series will be on Saturday February 3rd, 2018 with the return game coming at Cameron Indoor Stadium during the 2018-19 season.
The Red Storm and Blue Devils have regularly played each other throughout the years.
St. John’s is expected to be contend for an NCAA Tournament berth next season in year three under Chris Mullin.
During the 2016-17 college basketball season, the Red Storm have improved in year-two of the Mullin era. With only one game left until the Big East Conference Tournament begins, St. John’s is 13-17. Even more impressive, the Johnnies are 7-10 in league games. The Johnnies only won eight games in total last season, with only one of them coming against a Big East opponent.
As for the Blue Devils, who have lost two of their last three games, they are 23-7 on the season. During Atlantic Coast Conference outings, Duke is 11-6, which puts them two full games back of the North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC.
Duke’s last regular season game is against North Carolina on Saturday. The Red Storm’s last, against Providence, will also be played on Saturday.
