Jordan Spieth Breaks Masters Record

Jordan Spieth not only holds a 5-shot lead heading into the third round of The Masters, but he now also holds the course record through 36 holes.

Spieth is 14-under par thanks to 15 birdies and just one bogey in the two days of the tournament thus far. He shot 64 the first day and 66 on Friday.

Spieth, 21, leads Charley Hoffman by five strokes. Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson are tied in third at 7-under.

Tiger Woods made the cut and will be paired with Sergio Garcia in the third round. World No. 1 Rory McIlroy needed a 5-under on the back nine to make the cut. He’s paired with Bubba Watson.
