The Atlanta Braves have officially activated utility men Sean Rodriguez and Danny Santana from their disabled list, the club announced on Monday afternoon. While Rodriguez has been reinstated from the club’s 60-day disabled list, Santana has come off the Braves’ 10-day disabled list.

In what have becoming corresponding roster moves, the Braves have optioned both utility man Jace Peterson and right-handed relief pitcher Jason Hursh down to Triple-A Gwinnett.

The 32-year-old Rodriguez has yet to appear in a single game as a member of the Braves after most recently spending two seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates. While battling a lingering left shoulder injury thus far into 2017, the veteran utility man has also suited up for both the Los Angeles Angels and Tampa Bay Rays along the way.

Rodriguez previously signed a two-year free-agent contract in order to join the Braves this past offseason. For his big-league career, the seasoned utility man has produced a .234 batting average with 67 home runs and 259 RBIs. He has a .303 on-base percentage across 2,165 at-bats in all.

On the other hand, the 26-year-old Santana previously spent his entire three-plus-year big-league career as a member of the Minnesota Twins before ultimately coming over to the Braves earlier in the year. Already making 42 appearances for the Braves, Santana is currently batting .230 with two home runs and 17 RBIs alongside a .287 on-base percentage with Atlanta.

Entering play on Monday evening against the defending World Series champs Chicago Cubs, Atlanta will be sporting an even 45-45 record.
