NBA alternate Nike jerseys leak through video game

Many NBA teams will be going with adjusted uniforms this season, and at least one of each team’s alternate jerseys leaked today through video game screens.

Nike’s “Statement” unis are now out. There are some teams that chose not to play that game — like the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat or New York Knicks — but others are running wild.

Perhaps none will be more noticeable than the Cleveland Cavaliers’ new kits, due to the airtime the team receives. The Cavs already unveiled their new red and white jerseys in real life, but this video game graphic now shows their updated black jersey being switched. So the black unis they wore to cap off their historic NBA Finals-clinching victory last summer could well be gone from the rotation.

The Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves made some sharp deviations for their “Statement” alternates as well. Here are the 30.
