MSG explodes after Doug McDermott’s putback jam

The three-time reigning Eastern Conference champions are again having trouble with the New York Knicks. The Cleveland Cavaliers‘ voyage to Madison Square Garden has featured a Knicks run that has them up 51-38 at halftime.

Part of this run featured a Doug McDermott putback dunk. The first-year Knick followed up a Courtney Lee miss with a transition jam, escalating another rough defensive night for the Cavs.

The Knicks walloped the Cavs in Cleveland earlier this season, and after falling behind early tonight, the hosts — who may be a little testy about a recent LeBron James draft opinion — finished the first half in control.
