Mika Zibanejad wins Rangers game in OT

Mika Zibanejad has been solid for the New York Rangers throughout his first season in the Big Apple.

Now, he’s coming up clutch for them in the postseason, too.

Zibanejad received a net-front pass in overtime to fire the puck cleanly behind Carey Price and win game five for the New York Rangers, putting his team up 3-2 in their series against the Montreal Canadiens as they head back to home ice on Saturday.

Take a look:

It’s been a grueling series for the Rangers and Canadiens, as two of the league’s most highly-regarded netminders have taken the ice in an attempt to move on to the next round.

So far, Lundqvist has put up a shutout, but neither has been particularly league-best – but the scoring, as shown above, has been pretty fun to watch.

The Rangers will look to take the series on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
