For the second consecutive night, Washington Nationals center fielder Michael Taylor went yard in a big spot. Taylor’s three-run home run in the bottom of the second inning was the Nationals’ second home run of the frame, and it gave the team a 4-1 lead. Chicago Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks went upstairs with the fastball, but he was unable to get the pitch past Taylor.

In Washington’s 5-0 Game 4 victory on Wednesday, Taylor blew open the game with a grand slam.
Second baseman Daniel Murphy led off the second inning with a solo home run, his fourth home run in 18 career at-bats against Hendricks.
