You’ll never settle any debate on the best at anything in any sport. Except for basketball. There’s no question who the best to ever play the game of basketball was. His Airness, Michael Jordan, turns 52 years old today.

The best NFL player? No solid answer. The best MLB player? You’ll get 20 different answers from every generation. Best NHL player? You have Wayne Gretzky in hockey and you have Michael Jordan in the NBA.

Because it is Michael Jordan’s birthday, here’s a quick reminder of just how he good he was on paper. He was even better at immeasurable stats.

Jordan was a 14-time All-Star, a six-time NBA Champion and six-time Finals MVP. He won five regular season MVPs, and it would’ve been more if voters weren’t bored of it always being Jordan. The 10-time scoring champion was a two-time dunk contest champion, 10-time All-NBA first team, nine-time All-Defense first-team and three-time All-Star Game MVP.

But Jordan was so much more than stats. It was the look, the competitiveness and the way he did things.
