Maybe it’s three years later than we thought, but the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao super-fight is now official.
Mayweather announced the fight–which will take place on May 2nd–by sharing a picture of the contract signed on his app ‘Shots’.
The two have gone back and forth for years regarding the fight, as have fans on whether or not it would happen. Mayweather is expected to get more than 60 percent of the cut. The MGM Grand sold out in 15 minutes for the fight.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the announcement:
If I'm Mayweather or Pacquiao, I spend the next few months trying to get Urban Meyer to walk me into the ring and thereby ensure victory.

To translate for some of you, Mayweather v. Pacquiao is kind of like Flair vs. Hogan in 1991.
