There’s no denying it’s been a tumultuous season for Matt Harvey, and the New York Mets right-hander was left without any explanations after another tough outing Monday.

Harvey allowed seven runs on 12 hits over four innings of work against the Miami Marlins and pushed his career-worst ERA to 6.59 through 17 starts.

“There’s really nothing to say,” Harvey said via Marc Craig of Newsday. “There’s no reason for questions. There’s no answers. There really isn’t. You’re going to write what you want to write, anyway.”

Anthony DiComo of MLB.com got the full response on video.
