The Clemson Tigers-Louisville Cardinals clash of the titans on Saturday will be attracting eyes from all over the nation, including NFL scouts. The Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Falcons will all be on hand, according to Chase Goodbread of NFL.com.
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has developed NFL-ready talent over recent years and there will be no shortage of it on Saturday.
FanRag Sports’ own Kyle Crabbs released his early season 2018 Mock Draft with a recognizable player rounding out the top five in Clemson’s Christian Wilkins. Entering the 2017 season, he had already accrued 140 tackles, 17.5 for loss and 5.5 sacks over 30 games.
To no one’s surprise, Lamar Jackson will be a hot commodity on Saturday.
The reigning Heisman winner is back to his old ways after he totaled more than 5,000 yards of total offense last season. Through two games, he has already amassed 1,010 yards and eight touchdowns and will look to run wild on a Clemson offense he torched for 162 yards on the ground a season ago en route to three total touchdowns.
He’s off a banner day against North Carolina, he game he stood out from the rest of the pack.
Not to be outdone, Cardinals defensive back Jaire Alexander is also a potential first-rounder, though he’s day-to-day as he nurses a knee injury.
Clemson wide receiver Deon Cain is also back after a season in which he totaled 724 yards on 38 receptions with nine touchdowns.
Krabbs also has Tigers defensive end Clelin Ferrell in his early mock draft, going No. 18 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
