On the same day that it was reported he was looking for a spot where sons LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball can play on the same team professionally, Lavar Ball also managed to get in a dig at President Donald Trump via social media.

Ball, who removed middle son LiAngelo from UCLA due to his belief that the indefinite suspension handed down to his son and teammates Jalen Hill and Cody Riley was excessive, sent out a tweet in which he was dunking on Trump (in emoji form, of course).

In the aftermath of their release by Chinese authorities after being arrested for shoplifting, Trump made the claim that he heavily influenced the Chinese government’s decision to release the three young men

After Lavar Ball downplayed Trump’s role in their release, Trump would later say via Twitter that maybe he “should have left them in jail.”
