The Cleveland Cavaliers announced that point guard Kyrie Irving will not play in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Atlanta Hawks due to left knee tendinitis.
Irving scored just 10 points in Game 1, a 97-89 Cavaliers win. He played 27 minutes, but sat out the final eight in Game 1.
His knee was evaluated by Dr. James Andrews, and he was accompanied by team physician Dr. Richard Parker. He is listed as questionable for Game 3.
