Kurt Busch was leading at Michigan International Raceway after the 138th lap, which turned out to be the final lap after rain stopped the race after four delays and 62 laps short of the scheduled 200, giving him the official victory and second of the year.
The race was stopped at lap 14, 20 and 46, delaying the race for over two hours.
It appeared Kyle Larson would come away with the rain-shortened victory, but low fuel cost him the lead, and possibly the win, when he had to pit after 133 laps.
Busch was followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr., who finished second, and Martin Truex Jr. in third.
Despite Truex Jr.’s strong finish, he still remains in second place trailing Kevin Harvick in the points standings. Harvick led 63 laps but finished 29th after a tire issue took him out of the pack.
