Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant has never been known for his speed, but it was on full display during Sunday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

When Cubs catcher Victor Caratini was up to bat with two outs in the top of the first, Bryant, who was on second base after singling two batters earlier, was on a full-on sprint once Zack Godley’s 3-2 strike got past D-backs catcher Chris Iannetta.

Bryant wheeled his way around third and got the green light to home, barely beating out Godley’s tag to open the scoring.
